We are a new spring program in Smithers BC. We started the Avs to help players in the north get more recognition and opportunities. We have a lot of talent in the Northwest but players do not get the chance to showcase their skills because of our geographic location. We aim to bring the highest level of competitive hockey back to the Northwest and give our players an opportunity to shine in high level showcase tournaments to open up opportunities for them to grow their future hockey endeavours. We are excited to announce 4 teams to start with a potential for more younger age groups in a modified format. We will be putting together a U16, U15, U14, U13 teams. We have the potential to grow the younger age groups as well and we look to create a world-class program for the kids and strive to create a program that drives kids to be the best hockey players they can and hone their skills in hopes of an opportunity to make the team.
